How we started.
After serving in the Navy in WW2, with his skills as a leather maker one man set up shop in Liverpool repairing horse saddles. Horse and carts where used to transport goods including barrels of beer around Liverpool and the docks. As times changed the business changed less leather work and more orders for canvas sheets for lorries and boats.
In the 1990's a small side line of repairing military webbing was started.
At the start of the 2000's a new chapter began with fresh blood and new ideas, so Kay Canvas introduces itself into the world of historic replicas. What started with a few replica British WW2 pouches has evolved into clothing, webbing, badges and tents from WW1 and WW2.
