American World War Two First Pattern Tankers Jacket.
Officially called the "Jacket, Combat, Winter".
The 1st pattern tankers jacket was first introduced in 1941 and differs from the more common tankers jacket by having patch pockets on the front.
Original 1st pattern tankers jacket are difficult to find today and are very collectible.
For reference the 1st pattern tankers jacket is being worn by Brad Pitt in the film "Fury".
- Heavy cotton outer in correct colour.
- Wool blanket type liner 70% wool 30% polyester.
- Chrome Talon zip.
- Light brown elasticated collar, cuffs and waist band, the colour of the elastic compliments the colour of the jacket and gives a nice vintage look to the jacket
- Two patch pockets on the front, these are the correct size pockets and they are triple bar stitched on the top corners to try to stop the pockets from ripping out.
- This is slightly darker colour than the last batch of tankers jackets, please see the pictures as this is the colour that you will receive.
